Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! The boys and I were spoiled as usual this Valentine's Day.
The boys gifts
They boys waking up to the gifts...Funny thing was that I went to put their gifts out before I went to bed (10 pm) the night before. Of course as soon as I get everything out and on the table who comes out of his room looking for me! Carson! So somehow I got him to go back to bed and he would get to see the stuff in the morning. Not sure how I made that happen but somehow I did:)

Of course my Candy- Monster was more interested in the candy than the toys...the 2 boys could not be more opposite! Colton loved this giant Hersey Kiss and gnawed on it for days...his and Carson's

These were my goodies for Valentines Day. Gel nail dryer, gel nails polish and bullets...of course who doesn't ask for bullets for Valentine's Day (he is so romantic) lol. But I did also make all the girls at work jealous with my 2 dozen roses delivery:)

Just for Melanie Mabry!

This post is dedicated to Melanie Mabry for getting on my case about the blog. Since I got my new camera for Christmas it is now my New Years resolution to keep the blog up to date! I am already a little behind but heres to trying!
This past weekend we went to Monster Jam. I was able to get a suite (best deal there...and you have room for the kids to run around). The kids had a fun time and I am sure we will becoming Monster Jam regulars:)

Happy Easter!
We had a great Easter this year. First on Good Friday Dee Dee and Poppy (Debby and my Dad) came and got the boys for them to stay the night with them at the river. They had a great time, although with my 2 boys and Sophie in the house there was not much sleep for Dee Dee:)
Sunday morning we woke up and much to Carson's surprise the Easter Bunny had visited our house. He walked out of his bathroom, stopped mid tracks, dropped his "bug" stuffed animal and after a few seconds of his mouth being dropped open said "Oh My Goodness"!! It was so funny.
Afterwards we got dressed and headed to church where my mom and Billy and Karen and Roger meet us.
Later that afternoon we had my family and Corey's family over for a Easter pot luck and egg hunt. We had 9 kiddos ages 4 to 3 months. It was loud and hectic but so much fun for everyone to get together. The kids played so well together and all the mommies and daddies had a great visit.

All the kids together... Braydon (Holli's triplet), Colton, Carson, Chloe (Aimee and Brandon's), Randi, Sophie. Back row: Jack and Maddie (Holli's triplets). Not baby Dani!

I have so much to post! So I am going to limit it to just the past couple of months. First, we moved back to Pearland! Corey and I really never thought we would move back to Pearland but ever since we started the whole process it felt very natural and home-like. We both love being here. We run into people we know everywhere we go and I think it gives me that "home-town" feel I really love. We are also close to my sister and her family and several friends. Although it was sad to move from our very close friends and neighbors, this opened doors for them too and they moved too:)
Of course if you know Corey and I you know we have to change things in every house we live in:) We have already changed out the 80's and unsafe stairs, added a half wall and moved the boys doors back and have many other things in our plans.
Next, Carson has started Pearland Little League! He is playing ITB (instructional tee-ball) and liking it so far. It is great cause Corey and Carson have been able to do this together. He is so cute and although all the flowers are picked in the fields he says he likes it too. We have games every Saturday at the Dad's Club so email me for the schedule if you want to come.
Now for the little monster...Colton is so funny he is the cutest, craziest, clever, ad testing child. He can make you so mad and then in literaly 1 sec have you dying laughing. He is very clever for a 2 year old...yes he just turned 2! I can't believe it!! How did my baby turn 2!? Here is a piture of him at age 2 holding his picture at age 1. Look how much he had grown!
We recently had his birthday party and he had so much fun. We rented a castle jump house with a dragon on top and it was a HIT with the kids. They played on that thing for hours...yes hours since we had it from Friday till Monday. We had to force Colton to get out to open presents and I had to ask him 4 times to get out to do cake. And we all know how much this kid loves "birthday" which is what he calles cake. Here are some pics of the party. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrate our precious big boy!
Lastly, we took the boys to their first Rodeo performance this year. Carson has been to the Rodeo before but never a concert. This year when he heard me say Zac Brown Band was going to be there he was so excited and wanted to go so bad. So our great friends Kim and Tim have season tickets and offered us tickets to the show. We were so ready! We ended up planning a day of it and Karen, Roger, Amber, Casey and Randi joined us for all the activities. Then we met up with Kim and Ethan later for the Rodeo and concert. It was tiring but so worth it cause the boys really likedd it and Carson told me three times " remember when they played knee deep as the first song, that was my favorite part". He had a blast.

Halloween 2011

This year for Halloween we had a Orange Dragon and a Turtle.

Carson dreamed up his Halloween costume this year and after searching and searching for exactly what he wanted we had to finally ask my mom to make it! She did an amazing job and Carson loved his costume. THANKS MOM FOR SAVING HALLOWEEN!

My lil snapping turtle was not so excited for Halloween this year. He really would have been happier if we would have let him wear his own clothes and just eat the candy. The other stuff was too much work:)

Ethan hosted the Lesak's annual Pumpkin Carving party and it was lots of fun for all those kiddos! Kim had a great party with Halloween games, pumpkin carving, tons of food, and a pinata. Thanks Ethan for inviting us!
Every year Karen and Roger's street have a Hayride for the kids to Trick-or-Treat. They have it early so grandkids can come too. The kids had fun, Carson was the only one to last the whole time but all three kids decided it was more fun to ride on the 4-wheelers rather than the hay ride.

We have started a Halloween tradition of our own. We have all the kids over to our house to Trick-or Treat on actual Halloween. It is fun for them to all go together...hectic but fun! Here is all the kiddos getting ready to tear up some trick-or-treating.

Carson, Ethan, Madison, Colton, Bella, Randi, Sophie
(Kade and Kole were there too but Kade didn't want to take the picture)

Pumpkin Patch 2011

Every year we go to the Pumpkin Patch at the church in Pearland. I just knew this year I was going to get some great pics since both the boys are getting older and I figured Carson would help keep Colton sitting in the right spot long enough for me to take a picture of the both of them....ha ha ha! I'm not sure if the BIG pumpkins scared him or he was just being moody but he was NOT having pictures, he would not let go of me and screamed if I tried to put him down so loud that everyone was staring at me. So I gave up and just took them of Carson. He was so cute this year, he wanted to take home all the pumpkins, and wanted to take tons of pictures. He is understanding that his mom loves pictures and it is probably easier to just go along with it:) Colton was fine once we got to the small pumpkins but would only do his silly smile. We have family pictures this Saturday so I am hoping he is great picture spirits!

Carson with the BIG pumpkin, look how he is pointing to it, lol

Colton finally joining in and loading some pumpkins in the wagon

This is his silly "CHHEEEEESSSSSEEEEE"

Carson has to get on the tractor every year, he loves it!

Look at my BABY! He looks so old sitting there, and look at his beautiful hair just glowing:)
This is my favorite picture of all, I love that laugh and catching it on camera is the best!

Until we got to the baby pumpkins I thought this was going to be my only shot of Colton...disaster!
